RCK in partnership with Kenya Forestry Service will plant 2000 trees at Karen C Primary School, all the 1,300 students will plant a Memory Tree, RCK Rotarian, RC Woodland Rotarian and Karen C alumni will plant a tree each and they will maintain the tree so long as they live. This is to enhance and amplify D9212 plan to plant trees to achieve 10% Kenya National Forest cover which is 1.8 Billion trees goal set by the Government of Kenya Ministry of Forestry and Environment in Kenya. KFS donated 2000 seedlings and signed a partnership for this project recently under the leadership of RCK President Anne Mbogori. The trees will provide shade to over 1,500 students and teachers and ultimately contribute to climate change globally. The voluntary rotary hours and grants per capita is US$10,000
