On Saturday the 16th June 2018, the day after the hugely successful eighth edition of the annual Charity Golf Day, the Rotary Club of Karen (RCK) held its 12th Installation of incoming Club President Rotarian Cephas Osoro and his Board of Directors. The event was held at the Karen Country Club where RCK meets every week on Wednesdays from 6.30 pm.
The installation dinner was a glamorous affair that featured Musikari Kombo as the Guest of Honour. The event saw the handover from outgoing Club President Rotarian Eva Nderu who had a very successful year with the club initiating and running many club activities during her term. The installation was ably run by Rotarian Anne Mbogori and the handover ceremony was conducted by incoming Rotary District 9212 Governor Rotarian Jeffrey Bamford who is also a charter member of RCK.Incoming Club President Rotarian Cephas Osoro is a long standing member of RCK and has been involved in the club since its earliest days. In his installation speech, he reaffirmed that he will uphold the success of RCK as one of the most active Rotary Clubs in Kenya with many commendable milestones achieved to-date. He also introduced his Board of Directors for his year in office. Rotarian Cephas Osoro is an Accountant by profession who has worked in leading local and international organisations.
