Well, if there’s something Rotarians are good at, it’s dressing up and showing up. Lorraine Kirigia’s installation as the new President was May’s highlight.
The emerald-themed event was graced by the current DG Ms Azeb, the current DGE, Leonard Ithau, PDG Alex Nyaga who was the then DG. Other notable PDG’s in attendance were Jeff Bamford, Harry Mugo, Eric Kimani, Patrick Obath, and Peter Mbui, as well as support from PDG Richard Omwla. All the Rotarians were treated to a truly wonderful party.
In her acceptance speech, Lorraine reminded us of how the Rotary Club exists to touch lives around our communities. True to her identity of service, she pointed out that the themes of her leadership will revolve around compassion, collaboration and commitment.
We are here for that President Lorraine!
